The Three Genres Of Communication - 958 Words

Abstract This report explores the three genres of communication within the major of veterinary technology. Its purpose is to inform individuals about how these specific genres are present in this field. Methods, results, discussion and conclusions are discussed. To research these three genres of communication several sources were required. I initiated my researching with internet searches to find more information to support why these three genres of communication are the most significant in the field of veterinary technology. Introduction Veterinary Technology is a bachelors of science degree within the department of Animal Sciences. Veterinary Technologist aid in assisting veterinarians in diagnosing illnesses and injuries of animals. Communication is an essential part in the work environment of a veterinary technologist and plays a vital role in the professional success of hospitals around the world. Numerous genres of communication are present in veterinary technology. Individuals proceeding in the field of veterinary technology should have a clear understanding of communication practices involved in the field. Although there are various genres of communication in veterinary technology the three genres that I found to be the most significant are animal care reports, record keeping and emails.
